In the current home villa elevator market, several types of elevators, such as traction elevators, spiral elevators, and hydraulic elevators, have their own advantages and disadvantages. The following mainly talks about the advantages and disadvantages of traction elevators in villa elevators.
Traction elevators rely on counterweights to tug the car back and forth, while the traction host only generates a small force, similar to the principle of a lever. After the invention of the permanent magnet synchronous host twenty years ago, the machine room-less elevator came into being. At present, the machine room-less elevator products are becoming more and more mature. When installing passenger elevators in low-rise buildings, machine room-less traction elevators are basically used.
1. Advantages of traction elevators
1. Quiet and stable. The traction drive is relatively quiet (slightly different for different brands of elevators), and the permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction host has no reduction box and no gear friction mechanical sound. As long as the installation and debugging are in place, it can run smoothly. The motor speed is completely adjusted by variable frequency and voltage, and the operating speed curve is adjustable.
2. Energy saving and environmental protection. The permanent magnet synchronous gearless host does not need to be regularly refilled and replaced, and there is no possibility of oil leakage. The motor power is relatively small, and the general home villa elevator is about 1KW, which is very energy-saving, similar to home air conditioners.
3. Complete safety system. In addition to conventional safety components: safety clamps, speed limiters, buffers, traction home elevators are generally equipped with the following safety configurations: ARD power failure emergency protection device, slow automatic leveling after power failure, door opening and release of people; slow leveling operation function after fault; built-in wireless card phone in the car; automatic fault detection and other functions. Relying on the control of safety components, even if the suspended elevator wire rope suddenly breaks, the car will be firmly stuck on the track and will not fall at all.
2. Disadvantages of traction elevators
High civil engineering requirements. Traction elevators have strict requirements on the top floor height and pit depth. Depending on the different traction counterweights, the requirements of civil engineering are also different. Generally, villa elevators require the top floor height to be no less than 2800mm and the pit depth to be no less than 500mm. The third elevator technology innovation is to flexibly adapt to the changes in the top floor through the top wheel and the bottom wheel of the car, and the top floor requirement can be reduced to 2400mm; through the improvement of the bottom beam of the car, the pit depth is not less than 150mm. At the same time, there are also requirements for the space of the hoistway. The width and depth of the S3 traction elevator hoistway are only 1000*800.
